Your wedding can be exactly as you have always envisioned. Let’s start with the preparation day before. Treat yourself from the minute you check in! Mobile spa treatments in the bridal suite? Hot tub and Prosecco with the girls? Poker night in the undercroft with the boys? Takeaway and a cosy movie night to calm the nerves? Fine dining dinner party in the Long Room with your nearest & dearest? Pizza served in the garden? You can even have us knock you up a signature Holesfoot Mule for your own private cocktail night in the bar whilst doing your final bits of decorating and setting up.

Choose one of our stunning locations to say I do before drinks, music, and canapés on the front lawn overlooking the pond, in the whimsy walled garden, the bar & cosy under crofts, or even the reception rooms of the beautifully renovated Grade II* listed Georgian-meets-Victorian manor house.

You can get wed in the Italian garden, The Barn, on The Pond Jetty, The Walled Garden, or even in the bluebell filled woodlands. Fancy a pianist, a string quartet, singer/guitarist? Do it! 

There is so much space for activities such as garden games, rounders, archery or axe-throwing to spice up the day’s events. Why not have a photoshoot around the pond or even on our quaint little rowing boat, Tiggy-Winkle, surrounded by a wildflower meadow with the magnificent Manor House as your backdrop? Choose from an abundance of epically beautiful nooks and crannies, indoors and outdoors, to create that wedding album you will never forget.

Move into The Barn or The Long Room for your wedding breakfast. In the barn the rustic sandstone walls, huge oak floorboards, and wrought iron chandeliers create the perfect setting for your beautiful touches to really stand out and complement the setting. The superbly high ceilings and windows, the huge glass entrance porch, and the beautiful stained-glass window all allow natural light to flood in. For smaller wedding parties, the Long Room is perfect, with its intricately carved wooden panelling and pillars, the epic oak table, along with the divine floor to ceiling windows, create the perfect setting to complement any decor.

The Italian Garden Terrace is a Holesfoot ceremony favourite. Weather dependent, it is an absolute must-do and will leave you and your guests covered head to toe in goosebumps having witnessed something so stunningly romantic. Walking through arches of roses, sweet peas, and honeysuckle, along an aisle with your guests bordered by water lilies, with stone statues perched on every wall and wisteria creeping up walls and down pillars in the most naturally enchanting of ways.

When it comes to your first dance, go for it and make an unforgettable entrance! The whole barn ceiling is covered with thousands of fibre optic lights to create the most incredible starry night sky. This really is a standout feature of the venue and will add another dimension to your celebrations whilst dancing the night away.

The morning after, a long soak in one of the many extravagant bathtubs, or a coffee in the hot tub will cure that inevitable foggy head. Whip up some eggs for brekky courtesy of the Holesfoot hens and head to the bar for a cheeky hair-of-the-dog, or amongst the flowers in the garden to reminisce over your big day. Sunday-fun-days at Holesfoot are always a huge hit with all guests, get the BBQ going & have a hot tub party, or a games day with volleyball and ping-pong tournaments, rounders, footie, croquet, pub quizzes, karaoke, the world really is your oyster! Have the estate to yourselves for another whole day of antics in the most relaxed environment you’ll ever come across to end your big weekend on an unforgettable high. 

We specialise in three day wedding weekends and two night mid week packages, as well as our beautiful Intimate Manor House wedding package that is becoming increasingly popular. We are also open to one day/one night events on certain dates.
